An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game.

Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Among Us for the intense and zany social situations that can arise while trying to ferret out the impostors, the astronauts have an overwhelming charisma that simply cannot be denied.

Fans have commemorated these little guys in all manner of bizarre ways, including some surprisingly terrifying fanart. But not many fan projects are as strange as Instagram user Lonelyman's "low-cost" Among Us cosplay. This user has taken advantage of the game's minimalistic graphics to design some surreal cosplays. In one, he paints his toes different colors so that they each represent a different crew member in a game of Among Us, thus cosplaying every single character at once. Another cosplay is a bit more involved; Lonelyman has created a cloth reproduction of half of an Among Us character. By burrowing into it, the cosplayer is able to represent the bone that sticks out of an astronaut once they're killed by an intruder. Lonelyman's own rear end forms the knob of the bone.

These are certainly creative cosplay ideas, though it would be difficult and indecent to show them off at a convention. Lonelyman has a tradition of using his own body in unconventional ways to represent characters from pop culture, and that definitely shines here. These cosplays certainly don't look unlike the characters they're meant to depict. It might be more sensible to just look for an astronaut costume, but sometimes, on the internet, "sensible" isn't always an option.

Lonelyman's cosplay is a testament to how much the online community has embraced Among Us. From its humble, unknown origins in 2018, the game has soared to new heights of popularity. Bizarre new forms of fan content are being released every day depicting these diminutive space survivors, and that's far from a bad thing. Lonelyman's cosplay might be a bit hard to stomach, but it's strong proof of just how beloved Among Us is.

Pokémon Unite Review: A Limited Battle Experience

Pokémon Unite is a MOBA-style free-to-play Pokémon game for Nintendo Change (& mobile soon) but the gameplay is interfered with by microtransactions. Pokémon battles are going a various direction in Pokémon Unite, a free-to-play MOBA game created by Timi Studios as well as published by The Pokémon Firm and Nintendo. Instead of catching Pokémon companions as well as traveling with areas to take on Health club challenges and battle villain NPCs, 2 teams of as much as 5 gamers battle each other in a field. While the capability to connect and fight against various other Pokémon followers is a welcome change from the minimal multiplayer alternatives of various other Pokémon video games, Pokémon Unite struggles with restricting gameplay, frustrating microtransactions, and also battle auto mechanics designed to benefit those that spend money on the game. Pokémon Unite is embeded in the Aeos Islands. Like other Pokémon regions, the location is being explored by a Pokémon teacher, Teacher P
