Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Developer Turns Chicken Nugget Into Impostor In Joke Video

InnerSloth, developers of the popular online multiplayer Among Us, is celebrating the end of an unusual, chicken nugget-centered story today by sharing what it would look like if the fried morsel could kill. First launched in 2018, Among Us features a deadly struggle between good, hard-working crewmates just trying to keep a spaceship running long enough to reach civilization and murderous imposters intent on killing everyone aboard. A typical game has all the players, whether crewmate or imposter, look identical. However, in this recent social media post, the developers have dropped the chicken nugget imposter’s unsettling form into the game unchanged.

The familiarly shaped piece of poultry started making headlines last week after it was spotted on eBay. It seems the snack was originally served as a part of a special McDonald's meal made in partnership with the famed Korean boy band BTS. Noticing one of the chicken nuggets included in the meal resembled a character from Among Us, one fan decided to put it up for sale. Even though it was listed as in "used" condition, bidding on the fowl bite quickly rose into the tens of thousands. The long bidding war came to an end with the curiously shaped Among Us chicken nugget selling for nearly $100,000.

The Among Us creators, who have been following the auction closely, have decided to pay a “cursed tribute” to the events of the week by whipping up a short video making the valuable chicken nugget an imposter. The nine-second clip is set in The Skeld, one of the game’s earliest and most well-known maps. The video follows a blood-thirsty monstrosity titled "the nugg." In the top left of the screen, the nugg’s list of tasks suggests its only objective is to become more valuable than the real-world nugget that inspired it. Unfortunately, that means certain death for the video’s red crewmate named $100,000. It is hard to tell if the ruthless murder or the face the nugg makes afterward is more unnerving.

Sending fans off into the weekend with an unsettling feeling is something of a trademark for the Among Us Twitter account. Today’s display featured ferocious fast food, but the team’s past creations have been arguably more bizarre. Back in April, an image appeared on Among Us’ social media depicting a four-legged crewmate. The developers initially seemed to be threatening to unleash it in the game, though soon after assured fan this would not happen.

There is big news on the horizon for Among Us as the summer season of game announcements begins and that makes it a great time for the developers to lean into the publicity being generated by this chicken nugget story. The team has promised the growing fanbase that the showcase on June 10 will shed light on the game's 15-player update, an update that will help the title better accommodate its new fans.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
