Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Gets Hamilton Crossover In The Room Where It Happens Mashup

A YouTuber has combined the hit multiplayer deduction game Among Us with the beloved American history musical Hamilton in an animated crossover music video. Despite a very obscure release in 2018, Among Us has exploded in popularity in recent weeks, and has even been streamed by US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in an attempt to raise voter awareness.

When a video game gets this prominent, an outpouring of fan content is sure to follow. Among Us is no exception to this rule; players have embraced the game's adorable astronauts in a variety of incredible ways. The little bean-like space explorers have appeared in music videos, fan art, cosplays, even terrifying high-quality computer animations. For the past month or so, Among Us has ruled the internet, and its grasp is all but inescapable.

YouTuber Lumiex took their fan creation for the beloved multiplayer game in an original direction by mashing it up with Hamilton. Specifically, they put together an animated music video set to Aaron Burr's iconic song, "The Room Where It Happens." While the original song expresses Burr's frustration at being left out of the political maneuverings of the burgeoning United States, Lumiex puts a new twist on it, using the negotiations and schemes highlighted throughout the song to narrate a pair of Impostors turning the rest of the crew against each other and subtly eliminating their opponents. While the literal meaning of the words doesn't match up with the events in the video, the style and tone of the song fits the video perfectly, and despite one inconsistency with regards to the rules of Among Us, the video is still very well made.

Much like Among Us, Hamilton has also enjoyed a very significant turn in the limelight. It premiered in 2015 to enthusiastic and widespread acclaim, going on to win Best Musical at the 2016 Tony Awards. It became such a cultural phenomenon that earlier this year Disney made it available to stream on Disney+. This isn't the first time fans have paid homage to it in video game form, either; back in July, a fan recreated a Hamilton song in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The musical has left a very potent legacy on popular culture in only five years, which is very fitting, considering how prominently the idea of a legacy features in the play.

As Among Us continues to prosper, the amount of creative ways fans are paying homage to it only grows. Players love these little astronauts so much that they've even put them on birthday cakes. The multiplayer game is an incredible phenomenon, and the more people play it, the more incredible works of art will get produced. It's truly a good time to be an Among Us fan.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
