Among Us Map Recreated In Animal Crossing New Horizons

Among Us Map Recreated In Animal Crossing New Horizons

One creative and dedicated Among Us fan has faithfully recreated the entire Polus level in Animal Crossing: New Horizons from scratch.

Among Us Map Recreated In Animal Crossing New Horizons

A dedicated Among Us fan has painstakingly recreated one of the game’s maps in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. Among Us has become a hit over the past year, so it’s no surprise that the cuteness of murderous aliens has leaked into the Animal Crossing universe, specifically this one island.

While Among Us originally released in 2018, the game experienced a major boom in popularity in late 2020 after a number of famous Twitch streamers began streaming the game. After only a few days, the multiplayer mystery game became a household name, eclipsing several prominent AAA titles and selling millions of copies across multiple platforms. Among Us’s popularity has spurred fans to create various mods for the game, along with fan art and comics online. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is just the latest platform to be utilized.

Among Us fan Ko_bo_cho recreated the Polus map from Among Us in Animal Crossing. Polus is the largest of all the maps and known for having long corridors to get trapped in. All of the map-specific tasks are there, with creative ways to display a number of items that don’t exist in the Animal Crossing brochure. The creator even managed to make a scale replica of the room where players wait to begin a new round and change the rules, along with accessorizing with different outfits. The creator was even noticed by the official Among Us Twitter account, recognizing them for their dedication and creativity to the series.

This isn’t the first franchise to get the Animal Crossing treatment, just recently a talented fan was able to create a faithful and adorable parody of a recent WandaVision episode. In this episode, Agatha is revealed to have been the one behind all the bad things going on in Westview, with a charming and surprisingly catchy musical number. Great-Bit Arcade was able to capture the moment perfectly, using the tools available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to great effect.

Other notable franchises that have gotten the Animal Crossing treatment are Hamilton, Parks & Recreation, Monster Hunter, Silent Hill, and Spirited Away. Recently Nintendo even crossed over Mario and Animal Crossing in a new in-game event. Players can get a multitude of Super Mario-themed furniture and costumes for their island and characters. Hopefully, Nintendo will do more of these themed item crossovers, allowing players to recreate more faithful adaptations to their favorite series.

How to Install (& Play) the Vent Digger Mod in Among Us

How to Install (& Play) the Vent Digger Mod in Among Us The Vent Digger Mod for Among Us by ZiadMontaser gives Impostors the power to build their own Vent network anywhere on the map. Here's how to get it. While many of the most popular Among Us mods add roles for crewmates and Impostors, there are also some that introduce new features everyone can enjoy, such as the extremely popular CrewLink and Proximity Voice Chat mods. One of the most important features for Impostors in Among Us are Vents, and the Vent Digger mod enhances this mechanic significantly. Normally, when an Impostor uses a Vent, they can only enter one of a few predetermined rooms in the Vent network. Additionally, Vents tend to appear in well-traveled areas, making it difficult to use them undetected. The Vent Digger Mod changes this, allowing the Impostor to place Vents that connect to each other anywhere on the map. The Vent Digger Mod makes Impostor Venting even more dangerous for crewmates, as they'll n...
