Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us players are staging music videos in-game, and conveying the lyrics to songs like All Star and In The Jungle using their player names.

Among Us Player Names Being Used To Make Creative Music Videos

Among Us players have begun using their own usernames to stage remarkably creative music videos in-game. The multiplayer survival and debate game has seen a recent explosion of popularity following an underwhelming release in 2018. The game's unique mechanic of debate and deductive reasoning to single out the murderous impostors has made it an absolute hit online, and has even led it to supplant beloved battle royale Fall Guys in fame.

As with any online phenomenon, the success of Among Us has led to a lot of creativity from fans. The outpouring of memes and fan content has been extreme. Some have even taken their appreciation for the game to very bizarre levels, such as one Instagram user who constructed "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts, painting his toes to look like crew members and even using his own butt to form the exposed bone that appears when a player is killed. It seems like the game's simplistic art style has presented something of a blank canvas for players to challenge their creativity in some very bold ways.

One remarkable new creative endeavor has surfaced recently on Reddit. User pospol posted a music video they assembled with a friend, having been filmed entirely inside Among Us. In the video, pospol repeatedly emerges from a vent, each time with a different one-word username. The usernames in sequence provide the lyrics for Smash Mouth's infamous song All Star, made famous by its appearance in the classic animated movie Shrek. Like Among Us itself, All Star has become a rather prominent internet meme in its own right. User inkkkk, meanwhile, posted a somewhat more involved take on user name lyrics. This one involves whole servers full of people, using their nicknames to form the lyrics of The Lion Sleeps Tonight. This version involves choreography, with the users who represent the backup singers orbiting the main melody as it plays. The level of coordination that went into this production is pretty impressive.

What's remarkable about this new form of Among Us art is that it doesn't really have anything to do with the game itself. These creations, while inspired, could be done just as easily in any online game with prominently visible usernames. The fact that different people all had the idea to make this happen in Among Us shows just how popular that game is.

It's always wonderful to see how an online game like this impacts modern society and culture. Among Us isn't nearly as polished or heavily marketed as Fortnite or the newest Call of Duty game, but it's brought a lot more joy to a lot of people and given them a chance to express themselves in some truly unique ways. These creative music videos are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Among Us fan content, and hopefully that iceberg will get a lot bigger before it starts melting.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
