Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Reveals Confusing New Red Variety With Maroon Color

Among Us Reveals Confusing New Red Variety With Maroon Color

Among Us players will have another brand new color to choose from when customizing their crewmates, and it has been revealed to be maroon.

Among Us Reveals Confusing New Red Variety With Maroon Color

The next crewmate color that will be added to Among Us has officially been revealed to be maroon. Inner Sloth's 2018 indie title became a sensation last year during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and has managed to maintain a strong player base well into 2021.

Even though Among Us seemed to reach the pinnacle of its popularity last year, the game's player count continues to thrive and recently boasted 2 million after a giveaway by the Epic Games Store. Despite these impressive numbers, however, there is still quite a bit of talk in video game circles about just how long the indie title will hold onto its popularity. Naturally, developer Inner Sloth would like to keep it going for as long it can, even going so far as to change its overarching production plans to better accommodate the smash hit with improved support and fresh content.

One small piece of new material players can now expect is the addition of the crewmate color maroon. The official Among Us Twitter account posted a gif showcasing the color on a moving crewmate, but the social media site's compression did not depict the shade of red as accurately as the developers wanted. A still image better showcasing the new color was posted a little later. The original tweet, meanwhile, also revealed that more Among Us information would be coming on June 10 as part of Summer Game Fest 2021.

As of now, there is no date set for when Inner Sloth's indie title will receive its next major update, despite many teases for what it will include. Its main focus seems to be increasing the size of player lobbies from 10 to 15, but there will be many other smaller inclusions as well. Nothing specific in this latest Tweet confirms that maroon will be part of the 15-player update, but its safe to assume so considering the trends seen in Among Us' social media of late.

While the developers of Among Us have a good track record of interacting with fans, it seems that this current stream of social media posts go beyond simple fan interaction and indicate that the next update will be launching in the near future. Though this latest update may not have come as fast as similar ones for equally popular games, it should be remembered that Inner Sloth's team is considerably smaller than most other developers. That does not mean, however, that they are any less passionate, and fans can likely rest easy knowing that whatever comes next for Among Us was done with them and their play experience in mind.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
