Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Update Will Let You Honk the Airships Horn

Among Us Update Will Let You Honk the Airships Horn

As part of the upcoming 15-player update, Among Us fans will be given the privilege of honking the airship horn. "Believe in horn! Believe in honk!"

Among Us Update Will Let You Honk the Airships Horn

One new feature that is set to debut with Among Us' upcoming 15-player update is the ability for players to honk the airship's horn. After the indie game skyrocketed to superstardom last year, developer Inner Sloth restructured all of its production plans in order to give more support to the hit release even though the title had been available to the public since mid-2018.

InnerSloth's efforts to keep a good portion of the massive player base Among Us accrued in 2020 revolve around the same principles that most ongoing online multiplayer titles stick to, namely adding new content without sacrificing what made the game special in the first place. One of these coming updates will add a host of new features include increasing player lobbies from 10 to 15, new player colors, and improved art styles. Now it has been revealed that there will be a small but still notable inclusion coming with those adjustments as well.

The official Among Us Twitter account posted the important addition in the form of a short video showing how players will be able to "honk horn in the Airship" after the 15 player update is released. Accompanying the demonstration was a screenshot depicting a conversation one of the developers had with some fans revolving around players' "need" to honk the horn. In that exchange, the developer promised fans that the next update would allow such a privilege and added the mantra "believe in horn, believe in honk." As of now, no official release date has been given for the update which will implement this change.

With today's wide range of social media platforms, it is easier than ever for fans to give their direct feedback to content creators no matter the medium. While some creators choose not to engage with fans and in some cases are even hostile towards them, Inner Sloth seems to be embracing and encouraging the developer-to-player interactions. It is a strategy that appears to be working as Among Us continues to boast millions of players.

It is the gamers, not the developers, who have the final say on how much a game stands out by the way it is consumed through the community. Now that communication between the two parties can be direct, developers should be trying to find out what their player bases want, both by what is said and what is unsaid. As things stand right now, Inner Sloth seems to be on the right path when it comes to supporting Among Us.

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence Among Us is pretty brutal for such a simple-looking game with cute, rounded characters. Here's each kill animation ranked from least to most violent. Despite the rather cute and simple look of Among Us, the online science fiction game has some pretty horrific kill animations that are often shown when an Impostor is left alone with an unsuspecting Crewmate. This list will go over each one, ranking them from least to most violent. Killing is a natural part of Among Us as the premise states a parasitic shapeshifter Impostor has taken the place of one of the Crewmates in an otherwise productive crew of MIRA scientists, explorers, and researchers. Crewmates try figure out who the Impostor is while trying to stay alive, but fans know that death is an inevitable part of the game. In fact, the absence of one makes it near impossible to find out who the real Impostors are. Currently, there are only four different kill animations, but...

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started One interesting Among Us fan theory offers an explanation on the origins of the Impostors and provides a timeline for when and where they appear. The online social deduction multiplayer title Among Us is a relatively simple game, but it's recent success has already brought about some interesting and complex fan theories to give more backstory to the space-themed setting. One theory gives a plausible explanation for how the Impostors came to be, incorporating each of the maps for more evidence. There are currently three maps in Among Us: The Skeld, MIRA HQ, and the latest addition, Polus. The developers are in the process of adding a new map, so this theory will only pertain to the ones already available. The Skeld is the primary map that takes place on a cargo spaceship which travels to the other locations. MIRA HQ is a tall building set high in a planet's atmosphere and is the location the Crewmates travel back to a...
