Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Are Among Us & Fall Guys The Same Characters

Now that Fall Guys is getting a crossover with Among Us, attention is back on how similar the characters look. But are the characters really the same?

Are Among Us & Fall Guys The Same Characters

Now that Fall Guys has announced a crossover with Among Us for its Season 4, it has restarted a conversation about how similar the characters in each game appear. This was a big debate when Among Us skyrocketed in popularity late last year and dethroned Fall Guys on Steam, since the two games looked very similar to people who haven't played both.

Among Us and Fall Guys were two of the biggest games of 2020, and a crossover between the two had been speculated and rumored for a while. Now, thankfully, fans' dreams are coming true since Fall Guys' Among Us crossover will happen in Season 4. The crossover event will include crewmate costumes from Among Us, and devs at Mediatonic - the developer of Fall Guys - have hinted that there's more to come.

Now that the two games are once again in the spotlight together, fans are bringing up just how much the characters in Among Us and Fall Guys look alike. Last year, when the two games first rose in popularity, there were some noticeable things Among Us and Fall Guys had in common. Namely, it's the brightly colored characters with rounded edges. Otherwise, the two games play very differently and aren't very similar at all. However, given the similarities in appearances, does that mean Among Us and Fall Guys have the same characters?

Among Us & Fall Guys Character Similarities Explained

Are Among Us & Fall Guys The Same Characters

In appearance, the avatars in Among Us and Fall Guys look a lot alike. Among Us' characters wear brightly colored astronaut suits with visors hiding their faces. Fall Guys features brightly colored characters with plain, white faces. The figures are shaped similarly as well - with rounded heads and hands and feet. Additionally, costumes are a major part of each game, since players can dress up their characters in numerous ways.

Those similarities aside, the characters in Fall Guys and Among Us are not the same. The games are made by two different companies - Mediatonic makes Fall Guys and InnerSloth created Among Us - and are therefore completely separate IPs. While fans may like to theorize the characters from both games are connected, that's not really the case. The gameplay, world, and core mechanics of Fall Guys and Among Us are inherently different, and there's certainly no canonical story connecting the two games.

So, while Fall Guys and Among Us may have similar-looking characters, they're completely different. Still, the upcoming Among Us crossover in Fall Guys is still really exciting, and it should please fans of both games.

This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...
