Furthermore, the demon has proven adept at winning over a crowd, especially since he could turn the kingdom's blades against the previously revered Seven Deadly Sins. It follows that few would suspect him of being an imposter until it was too late.

8 Lisa Lived As A Convincing Imposter For Years (Fire Force)

Lisa lived with Vulcan for years in order to win his trust and seize the Amaterasu blueprint as instructed by her White-Clad master, Giovanni. Though she may not be particularly intelligent or able to deflect blame, she has proven an ability to avoid accusations by keeping her head down and laying low.

By commenting passively every so often and otherwise remaining in the background, her beguiling presence would exonerate her from whatever suspicion her actions generated. Her success is especially ensured since she ultimately fulfilled her mission on her benefactor's behalf.

Before he became the power-mad necromancer seen in the Fourth Shinobi War, Kabuto was a proficient spy. Not only did he work on behalf of the Foundation for Danzo Shimura, but he also managed to convince Team Seven of his identity, allowing him to follow them without suspicion.

Moreover, the medical ninja has demonstrated excellent subtlety, sneaking into a Konoha hospital undetected and nearly claiming Sasuke's life. It follows that he'll know when and where to make a kill without being reported and to always have a convincing alibi on hand.

She demonstrated a useful quality for any aspiring imposter - the ability to bide one's time by faking tasks. When the hour came for Satsuki's betrayal, even Ragyo was surprised. Unfortunately, her duplicity didn't make a difference since she couldn't kill her mother in a single hit.

4 Hisoka Infiltrated The Most Powerful Criminal Enterprise On The Planet (Hunter X Hunter)

Hisoka may not have had any innate stealth skills, but he was conniving enough to infiltrate the Phantom Troupe (a criminal organization dedicated to secrecy and loyalty) without any of its members being the wiser. This was in spite of the fact that he did not assist them at the battle for Yorknew.

Considering his unquestioned absence, we can discern that Hisoka would also be proficient at faking tasks. Since he bode his time until Chrollo was separated from his comrades before confronting him, it follows that he'd employ a similar strategy for picking off crewmates.
