10 Attack On Titan Characters That Would Make Great Among Us Imposters

Before the Imposters, there were the Titan Users who blended in with the scouts so well that no one suspected a thing, not even the viewers.

Although the Attack On Titan universe has dozens of memorable battles and intense situations, a prominently recurring theme is one's ability to deceive those around them. This was proven in dozens of instances, from the Warriors' infiltration of Paradis to the Tybur family's false history as Marley's undisputed saviors.

Subsequently, it follows that many of the series' characters would make skilled Among Us imposters for how they can navigate treacherous situations with discretion and defend their intentions with convincing lies. By identifying them, we can better understand the ways deception has been employed throughout the anime.

10 Bertholdt Was The Only Member Of The Warriors Not To Get Himself Exposed

Despite his low confidence, Bertholdt was easily the best spy in the Warriors' ranks. He did not overplay his hand as Annie did, nor did he crack under pressure like Reiner after the battle for Utgard. This entails that he'd be able to pick off many crewmates without suspicion.

Additionally, his titan itself is favorable to his odds of success as a single detonation can cover a decent radius and take out everyone caught within it. If he sabotages the reactor and coaxes his enemies into congregating at one place, he can obliterate most of the lobby in a single action.

9 Pieck Infiltrated Paradis & Even Convinced Eren Of Her Intentions

While Pieck may not have directly played a role in the Warriors' infiltration of Paradis, she proved to be just as talented of a manipulator as her colleagues were. Not only was she intelligent and stealthy enough to infiltrate a Yeagerist compound undisturbed, she even managed to convince Eren that she was a traitor to Marley.

By luring him to the rooftop, she put him in a perfect position to be attacked by Porco. Given her charisma and subtlety, she would make for a perfect imposter even if her titan abilities wouldn't be particularly useful.

8 Falco Was Able To Keep Up A Ruse For An Extended Period Of Time

Falco was a thoughtful and intelligent young man who was just as determined to inherit the Armored Titan as Gabi. When they escaped from the Scouts' prison and stole into Paradis' countryside, he had the foresight to create aliases for himself and his comrade immediately once he was approached by Kaya.

Additionally, he managed to keep up his ruse even after Gabi attempted to murder her with a pitchfork. This belies his station as a talented manipulator and worthy imposter.

7 Zeke Was A Skilled Strategist & Masterful Manipulator

Zeke's intelligence and ability to deceive others was arguably an even greater asset than his Beast Titan. By betraying Marley and aligning with the Yeagerists, he was able to transform most of Paradis' military into pure titans.

His affinity for convincing both sides of the war as to his motives evinces how deadly he would be as an imposter, with or without being able to transform.

6 Annie Was Great At Escaping The Scene Of A Crime

Annie Leonhart was the user of the Female Titan and a spy almost as capable as Bertholdt. Though she lacked his deceptive skills, she was brilliant at escaping the scene of a crime while keeping her identity anonymous (as proven through her getaway from Levi and Mikasa in the forest).

Subsequently, she'd be able to kill crewmates and retreat into vents well before she is seen and exposed. The only way for her to get ejected is if a particularly intelligent player can deduct her actions based on her absences in other parts of the map.

5 Armin Was A Talented Orator Who Knew How To Spin Convincing Stories

While Armin would share many of Bertholdt's advantages when using the Colossal Titan, he'd thrive as an imposter even without them. He has proven a talented liar capable of eliciting strong emotions whenever he chooses, as seen in his interactions with Leonhart and Hoover.

He was able to convince the former to come with him to save Eren, only to lead her into a basement that would expose her identity if she continued to follow along. Armin also managed to enrage Bertholdt by lying about torturing Annie, using his vigilance against him to make him slip up.

4 Gabi Was Able To Convince Foreign Militants Not To Shoot Her, Only To Betray Them

Gabi may not possess Falco's discipline or charisma, but she proved just as capable at deceiving enemies during a Marleyan attack on a foreign outpost. She wandered into the street and pretended to be an innocent bystander, only so that she'd have an ample spot to hurl explosives at an oncoming train to crush the enemy garrison.

By demonstrating an ability to stave off suspicion (however temporarily), Gabi is able to kill crewmates with efficiency. Should she be partnered with Falco, the two of them would be nearly unstoppable.

3 Kenny Ackerman Is A Master Of Stealth & Subterfuge

As the leader of the anti-ODM squad, Kenny was a master of stealth and subterfuge. He also proved to be a shrewd judge of character and was immediately suspicious of Annie Leonhart when they briefly crossed paths.

While Ackerman may not be the most capable of defending himself against accusations from crewmates, he has demonstrated such an acuity for assassinations that it's unlikely he'd ever be incriminated to begin with.

2 Yelena Was One Of The Series' Greatest Masterminds

Yelena was a brilliant manipulator, as proven through her ability to endear herself to Paradis' military despite her background as a Marleyan officer. Moreover, she understood how to take charge of situations and led a squad into the Eldian continent with confidence.

As a result, she'd be inclined to assume control of finding the imposter, meticulously redirecting suspicion toward those who might incriminate her and only acting against crewmates when she knew with certainty that escape was possible.

1 Eren Was Likable In Spite Of The Suspicion He Might Attract

Eren Yeager was a talented liar, as proven through his ability to convince Zeke that he agreed with his plan for Eldian eugenics. He was also charismatic enough to rally the Yeagerists and lead them as their figurehead, evincing that he might be able to collect enough crewmates to his side to prevent him from being ejected.

Even those who suspected malice from him were forced to admit his usefulness and reluctant to take action against him, as seen in the court of Dhalis Zachary and when the heroes would later formulate a plan to stop the Rumbling. This entails that he could get away with crewmate kills until it became too late to stop him.
