Imaginative art shared online shows what Among Us' crewmates might look like underneath their iconic space suits. Among Us has seen an insane spike in popularity in recent months thanks to both its availability and fun simplicity for players of all walks of life to enjoy. The addictive gameplay has turned thousands of crewmates against each other and the game itself has carved a sizable spot amongst other multiplayer games with large cultural footprints, such as Fortnite and Minecraft.

Among Us was initially released as a mobile game in June of 2018 and was generally accepted as a fun but simple multiplayer game. Fast forward a few years and one global pandemic, and the game has seen an unprecedented spike in popularity. Among Us places players in the role of crewmates, cute astronauts that roam a map completing various tasks. Meanwhile, one or more players is selected as the Impostor at random. These player's role is to discreetly "dispose" of other players through murderous tactics and avoid getting caught until the whole crew has been taken care of. After every round, all the players convene in a meeting where everyone in the match debates on who might be the Imposters.

Reddit user Kroasan_Power posted artwork on the Among Us subreddit that shows what the adorable little murderers in the game might look like underneath their space suits. While a few users point out the similarities to Captain Underpants, some find the depiction to be closer to the terrifying Thumb Thumbs that were henchmen in the movie Spy Kids. This is not the first time that a fan has shown their love of the game outside the meeting room. A nine-year-old boy recently recreated the beloved Airship completely with Legos, and many more examples of fan art can be found across multiple sites.

The game has seen immense popularity as it allows social intrigue to be a factor in a multiplayer game that people can play while safely quarantined within their homes. The ability to customize crewmates with in-game items such as hats, hoods, and color schemes have made the crewmates a gaming icon and the focus of various memes and fan art, as seen here. Developer InnerSloth has responded to the popularity by remaining active within the community and entertaining the plethora of modders who have made new game modes and skins for the popular title. InnerSloth has also said that a new map is on its way amidst players begging for a new setting to murder their friends in.

Many have speculated what the crewmates actually are underneath their iconic spacesuits. InnerSloth has never commented on the subject which has left the answer to fans imaginations. Some say that they might not even have arms. The Among Us craze has seemed to hit every household imaginable. Recently, Conan O'Brian himself commented on the game while being a guest on the podcast Good Game Nice Try. While he was facetious on his opinion about the game, he said he did enjoy that he could easily jump on and play with his son and his friends.
