An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us How to Win As A Crewmate (Tips Tricks & Strategies)

While it should be easy to win Among Us as a Crewmate, players will find that isn't the case. Here are some tips to eject Impostors and win the game.

Among Us How to Win As A Crewmate (Tips Tricks & Strategies)

Among Us has taken the gaming world by storm over the last few weeks, quickly becoming one of the most popular party games to play with friends. In the game, players are assigned a role as either a Crewmate or an Impostor. The Crewmates’ goal is to complete the assigned tasks on the spaceship and vote off all Impostors before the Impostors kill them. The Impostors’ goal is to sabotage the tasks and kill the Crewmates until their number is equal to the number of Impostors. Players have to lie to each other to avoid detection and will need to rely on word of mouth from other players to clear their name or discover who the Impostor is among them.

While it seems like the Crewmates should have the advantage, as there are more of them than there are Impostors and it can be difficult to successfully lie if an Impostor commits a murder right in front of a Crewmate, it can be difficult for the Crewmates to win. Players will need to remember there is a safety in numbers and will need to come up with a strategy for completing all their tasks and avoiding the wrath of the Impostors. Here’s how to win Among Us while playing as a Crewmate.

One of the best ways to ensure players stay alive as Crewmates in Among Us is to travel as a pack. Impostors are most likely to be successful if they catch the Crewmate alone or mostly alone, as they can quickly make their move and vanish through a portal long before another Crewmate finds and reports the body. Staying close to a group will make it harder for an Impostor to pick a Crewmate off.

There is a downside to this strategy, however. If the Crewmate happens to be traveling around with an Impostor or two, it is possible they will be killed. Worse, it is possible for Impostors to perform multiple kills, meaning no group is perfectly safe from these pretenders.

Crewmates should also be sure to perform visual tasks, like medbay scans, shooting asteroids, or throwing out garbage in full view of other players. If other Crewmates see the player taking care of tasks, that Crewmate is less likely to be suspected and wrongly tossed overboard as a possible Impostor.

One strategy for deliberately throwing off Impostors may be for a player to perfectly align their bean character on top of another confirmed Crewmates’ bean character while performing a task. It is possible the Impostor will attempt a kill thinking there is only one Crewmate standing there, outing them as the killer. However, this could still backfire and result in both Crewmates being killed.

Another strategy might be to memorize common tasks. There are several tasks in the game, including Insert Keys or Swipe Card on Polus that all Crewmates will have. Of course, this means if the player doesn’t have a common task listed, no other Crewmates have it either. If the player notices someone performing that task, chances are, they are an Impostor.

Crewmate players should always fix sabotage as soon as possible. The lights being cut or doors being locked will cut Crewmates off and make them easy targets for Impostors. It is always a good idea to fix sabotage as quickly as possible and avoid waiting for other teammates to do it.

Players should note that if the body is still standing, the kill was fresh. After a few seconds, the body will travel to the floor. If a player finds a body and notices someone running away while it is still standing upright, there is a good chance that someone is the Impostor.

Finally, players should use the Emergency Meeting function to strategize. Players can ask their fellow Crewmates to watch them perform a visual task, suggest opportunities to stay in groups or discuss other ways to gauge the innocence or guilt of their friends. Of course, the downside is that the Impostors will know the Crewmates’ plans. This is risky, but a good way to avoid skipping too many votes and letting Impostors get closer to a win.

Naming characters in Among Us is one of the funnest aspects of the game. Player perceptions regarding sus names in Among Us have changed with the game. Among Us Concept Art Shows How Fast Crewmate Design Came Together Newly released concept art for Among Us shows that the simple design of the crewmate was settled very early on in the development process. Concept art for Among Us has emerged online, showing that the design of the crewmate characters in the game was remarkably similar to the result and was finalized very quickly by developer InnerSloth. The game, which actually released way back in 2018, has become a surprise hit over the last month or so. In fact, the popularity of the indie title has risen so much that it has overtaken other surprise successes like Fall Guys on streaming site Twitch. TellTale Games The Wolf Among Us 2 Trailer News & Latest Updates Though there's been little news on The Wolf Among Us 2 since its announcement back in 2019, that's finally changing. Here's what we know so far. Telltale Games announced the return of The Wolf Among Us upon the studio's 2019 revival, but there have been few updates about the project since. Based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic series, the first game was released over the course of five episodes in 2013 and 2014. It served as a prequel to Fables in which players controlled Bigby Wolf (a.k.a. the Big Bad Wolf), the sheriff of a hidden New York community occupied by fairytale characters called Fabletown. The story followed Bigby as he investigated mysterious murders in Fabletown, a community that had previously been fairly safe for a long time. The original Wolf Among Us game was praised for its noir tone, visual style and story. Now, after years without news on The Wolf Among Us 2, a recent Game In...
