An Among Us crewmate-shaped chicken nugget is up for sale on eBay right now for a pretty hefty sum. The lucky seller discovered the rare snack in a McDonald's BTS-inspired meal, adding to the pop culture value and the unique nature of the product. This interesting listing has so far caught the eye of many eBay shoppers, with quite a few people watching the product's price.

Among Us took the world by storm last year when the world went into lockdowns during the pandemic. The social deception game allows players to connect with strangers or friends around the world and take on the randomly assigned role of a crewmate or an impostor. As the former, a player's goal is to simply perform tasks around a spaceship and report any suspicious activity - including the deaths of fellow crewmates. Meanwhile, the impostor's job is to blend in as much as possible while quietly murdering crewmates and sabotaging the ship. If the crewmates cannot identify the impostor via voting in meetings after a few rounds, the impostor wins. Developer InnerSloth has recently made some major improvements to Among Us, including bigger player lobbies and more crewmate color options. Several fans have also paid tribute to the game with Among Us-inspired artwork, baked goods, game mods, and more, turning crewmates into quite the pop culture icons.

Because of the game's popularity, eBay seller Polizna was no doubt excited to randomly find an Among Us chicken nugget in their McDonald's meal. The listing's photo shows a single round nugget with two stubby "legs" on the bottom. Surprisingly, the snack really does look like the silhouette of a crewmate. What's even crazier, though, is the product's price: $1,396. The price was previously even higher, but the seller noted in the description that they lowered the cost because "someone said shipping was too much." The Among Us chicken nugget currently has 130 watchers and more than 500 views per hour.
