Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Mira Map First Draft What Changed Before Release

Among Us Mira Map First Draft What Changed Before Release

Long before Mira HQ was a playable map in Among Us it was just a drawing, one developer InnerSloth shared with fans - and a whole lot was changed.

Among Us Mira Map First Draft What Changed Before Release

With the arrival of the new Airship map on a lot of Among Us fans' minds, indie developer InnerSloth has shared a first draft of its Mira HQ map. With many fans looking ahead, it's nice to glance back and see how far the game has come from conception to implementation.

Among Us is the hit social deduction game that skyrocketed in popularity last year, although it initially released in 2018. Since its release, Among Us has gotten new maps, including Mira HQ and Polus in 2019. Now, thanks to a tweet from InnerSloth earlier this year, fans have gotten a glimpse of the first draft of Mira HQ, and it's interesting to see just how much was changed before the final version was released.

It's always interesting to see the development process of games, and InnerSloth has been great about sharing tidbits of trivia and behind-the-scenes information on the social media accounts for both the studio and Among Us. Last month, for instance, the company released stats showing that dark green, brown, and lime green were the least popular colors among Among Us fans. It's these kinds of reveals that fans enjoy seeing between content updates, and it's why fans were in awe of how much has changed between the first draft of Mira HQ and the way it appears in-game.

Mira HQ Final Version Changes In Among Us Explained

Among Us Mira Map First Draft What Changed Before Release

In the first draft of Mira HQ (pictured above), the layout of the Among Us map is noticeably different. The launchpad, although still on the southwestern end of the map, is pictured beside the breakroom and medical bay - which didn't happen in the final version seen in Among Us. Another difference is that the entire top portion of Mira HQ (featuring the greenhouse, office, and admin) that made it into the game is completely missing from this first draft. Instead, admin appears in the southeastern corner, while the office and greenhouse aren't listed at all.

Hallways and other rooms were added in a later draft, apparently, since multiple areas are missing from this first draft. It's interesting to see just how much Mira HQ changed between first draft and release, and it's great that InnerSloth is willing to share this info with fans. While it may not be the Airship map that many fans are waiting for, it's still a nice behind-the-scenes look at Among Us.

Maps are a major part of Among Us, so it's nice to see a bit of the development process and see just how much the layout of Mira HQ has changed from its original conception. It's unclear when new maps will come to the game once the Airship releases, but maybe InnerSloth will share more behind-the-scenes photos of upcoming maps in the future.

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence Among Us is pretty brutal for such a simple-looking game with cute, rounded characters. Here's each kill animation ranked from least to most violent. Despite the rather cute and simple look of Among Us, the online science fiction game has some pretty horrific kill animations that are often shown when an Impostor is left alone with an unsuspecting Crewmate. This list will go over each one, ranking them from least to most violent. Killing is a natural part of Among Us as the premise states a parasitic shapeshifter Impostor has taken the place of one of the Crewmates in an otherwise productive crew of MIRA scientists, explorers, and researchers. Crewmates try figure out who the Impostor is while trying to stay alive, but fans know that death is an inevitable part of the game. In fact, the absence of one makes it near impossible to find out who the real Impostors are. Currently, there are only four different kill animations, but...

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started One interesting Among Us fan theory offers an explanation on the origins of the Impostors and provides a timeline for when and where they appear. The online social deduction multiplayer title Among Us is a relatively simple game, but it's recent success has already brought about some interesting and complex fan theories to give more backstory to the space-themed setting. One theory gives a plausible explanation for how the Impostors came to be, incorporating each of the maps for more evidence. There are currently three maps in Among Us: The Skeld, MIRA HQ, and the latest addition, Polus. The developers are in the process of adding a new map, so this theory will only pertain to the ones already available. The Skeld is the primary map that takes place on a cargo spaceship which travels to the other locations. MIRA HQ is a tall building set high in a planet's atmosphere and is the location the Crewmates travel back to a...
