Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Players Discover Cool Secret Behind Polus Maps Name

Among Us fans have discovered that the Polus map owes its name to a minor character from the developer's other work, the Henry Stickmin Collection.

Among Us Players Discover Cool Secret Behind Polus Maps Name

Fans have discovered a surprising reference behind the name of the Polus map in Among Us. The multiplayer hidden traitor experience has experienced a significant resurgence in popularity in recent months. following a rather obscure release in 2018. Fans have been engaging with it in all sorts of bizarre ways, including a strange new cosplay method involving one's own body parts.

Among Us succeeds through a unique and quirky mix of horror and comedy. The adorable, brightly colored astronauts and the cartoonish graphics mask a terrifying scenario that pits hapless space explorers against an alien threat masquerading as one of their own, a la The Thing. It's a strange premise, but the delightful social situations and debates that arise from trying to figure out who the impostor is has rocketed the game to success, surpassing even Fall Guys, another multiplayer game that saw fame thanks to its cute, bean-like characters.

One of the maps in Among Us further channels The Thing by bringing players to a remote outpost blanketed in snow. The map is known as Polus, and some fans on Reddit have recently discovered why. The game was created by PuffballsUnited, who also produced a series of point and click adventure games that were recently rereleased on Steam as the Henry Stickmin Collection. While these adventures have been flash games on the internet for years, the collection includes a host of new features, most significantly bios for every single character that appears in the game. In particular, fans found a bio for a character named Polus Petrovich. The bio states that Petrovich got a planet named after him after winning a sweepstakes, which is almost unquestionably a reference to Among Us's Polus map.

Since Petrovich's bio wasn't revealed until the release of the Henry Stickmin Collection in 2020, almost a whole year after the Polus map was introduced to Among Us, it's unclear exactly which came first. In the universe of the games, obviously, Petrovich named the planet, and then the characters of Among Us arrived to explore it and get terrorized by impostors. But it's largely unknown whether the developer had this incidental NPC named from the beginning and chose to commemorate him through the Among Us map, or named the character after the map and used his bio to explain the connection. Either way, it's a fun easter egg for fans of both games.

It's pretty impressive to see how far PuffballsUnited has come. From humble beginnings with simple stick figure adventure games to one of the most popular multiplayer games in the world today, this developer has managed quite the success story. It's nice to know that when it comes to the maps in Among Us, PuffballsUnited hasn't forgotten his roots.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
