Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

The Sheriff mod in Among Us adds a new role for crewmates to help defend against Impostors. Players can install and use it, even on public servers.

How to Install (& Play) The Sheriff Mod in Among Us

Many social deduction games similar to Among Us include roles for the citizen or crewmate players to help them take on their antagonists and sometimes prevent them from making kills. While developer Innersloth has yet to introduce roles in the base game, members of the Among Us community have taken it upon themselves to mod these roles into the game. Now, crewmates can be randomly assigned to be the ship's Doctor and revive dead players, Jester and foil both the crewmates' and the Impostors' hopes for winning, or Sheriff and kill the Impostors before they can kill the other crewmates.

The Sheriff role has been played and demonstrated by popular streamers like DisguisedToast, Valkyrae, and Jacksepticeye, among others. The basic rules of the game stay the same, but the addition of the Sheriff means crewmates are no longer entirely defenseless against the Impostor. Similar to the Vigilante role, Sheriffs have a kill button and can execute an Impostor during a round when they get close enough. However, if they make a mistake and kill an ally, they will also die, leaving the crewmates short two players and possibly handing the game to the Impostors. It is a high-risk, high-reward role and can introduce a new excitement to Among Us. Here's how to download, install, and play the Sheriff mod for Among Us.

Players should note that it is usually only possible to mod Among Us on PC. Players on mobile may not be able to access and play this mod. It is also common for mods not to work unless every single player in the lobby is using it, so players will need to make sure everyone in their group has downloaded and installed the mod first.

To install the Sheriff mod, players will need to follow these steps:

  • Download the Among Us Sheriff Mod from Woodi-dev on GitHub. Make sure the version matches the version of Among Us installed on the PC. Update the game if needed.

  • Find the Among Us root directory folder. The file path is usually Steamlibrary > steamapps > common > Among Us.

  • Name the new folder Steamlibrary > steamapps > common > Among Us Sheriff Mod.

  • Find the downloaded zipped folder for the mod and select Extract All.

  • Select the Among Us Sheriff Mod folder as the extraction location and complete the extraction.

  • Open the Among Us Sheriff Mod folder and launch the game by clicking Among Us.exe.

Lobby hosts are also able to set the visibility of the Sheriff in the game settings menu while this mod is installed. It may be a good idea to hide the Sheriff's identity so they are not constantly pursued by the Impostors and to add another level of deception to the game. Impostors could try to claim the role of Sheriff if the Sheriff's identity remains hidden.

Players can use this mod on public servers, or they can use custom server regions, included with the mod, to join private servers. According to Woodi-dev, this mod shouldn't get players banned from public servers, as the code should not be flagged as a bad request for hacking. This mod also works with the Proximity Voice Chat mod.

If players are familiar with the Vigilante role, the Sheriff role is very similar. One crewmate is randomly assigned the role in each new game, just as they would be assigned Impostor. During the game, crewmates still complete tasks, and Impostors still sabotage and kill crewmates. Even the Sheriff will still need to complete their tasks in addition to their role.

The major difference between the Sheriff mod and the classic version of Among Us is that the character assigned the role of Sheriff also has a kill button and can try to kill Impostors during a round to secure a win for the crewmates. However, if Sheriffs mess up and kill a fellow crewmate, both the Sheriff and the killed crewmate are out of the game. This has the potential to hand the Impostors an easy win, so Sheriff players are advised to be extremely careful with their kills. If the Sheriff is visible or known to players, they will be in constant danger of being eliminated quickly by the Impostors.

The addition of roles to Among Us can create a new experience for fans of the game. As more updates are released, players may eventually get to see some of these ideas extend beyond modding and become part of the full game.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...
