Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Netflixs Sweet Home Is Basically a Korean Horror Version of Among Us

Netflixs Sweet Home Is Basically a Korean Horror Version of Among Us

Sweet Home was one of the most popular Korean shows to premiere on Netflix in 2020. Combining a horror theme with a somewhat timely premise, the Webtoon adaptation was noted for its incredible special effects, which pushed the series to become the first South Korean TV show to break into Netflix's Top 10.

Its premise of monsters in disguise also brings to mind another franchise that hit it big in 2020. Though it originally launched in 2018, Among Us became a huge phenomenon in 2020 thanks to streamers on Twitch. Featuring monstrous impostors who creep among unsuspecting victims, the game bears more than a few similarities to Netflix's hit K-Drama.

Sweet Home

Based on the Korean Webtoon by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan, Sweet Home is based around the life of Cha Hyun-soo. Having recently lost his family in a tragic accident, Cha moves into an apartment in an attempt to begin a new life. This is all quickly upended, however, following the announcement of a mysterious virus.

This virus is revealed to be turning people into monsters based on their desires, with even the most unassuming people being monstrous beasts in disguise. Cha and those stuck with him in his apartment complex must soon learn who among them is a monster, and survive when they make their discovery. Likewise, many of them begin exhibiting incredible powers of their own, which aid them against the monsters and make others convinced that they are the enemy.

Among Us

Among Us is a multiplayer game in which the players complete various tasks around a compact map. But among these crewmates are imposters whose goal is to sabotage the crew's mission. Ultimately, the imposters will try to kill off crewmates, with the game ultimately being lost if all of the crew is killed. Clues have to be followed to figure out which crewmates are benevolent and which are imposters, with them initially being indistinguishable from each other. Players that are killed then become ghosts and can aid those that are still alive.

This basic premise of Among Us is very similar to the one in Sweet Home. For starters, the sometimes cramped environments in the game are analogous to the show's apartment complex. Likewise, random, unassuming individuals being killers and monsters is the exact same threat in both projects. The presence of benevolent but not-quite-human ghosts is also similar to otherwise normal humans in Among Us gaining their own powers to combat monsters with.

The main difference between the two is that Sweet Home, contrary to its name, wears its horrifying nature on its sleeve. This includes not only the monsters themselves but also the violence that they inflict on their victims. Among Us, on the other hand, is a colorful, cutesy game with characters that look halfway between the Android and Reddit mascots. In the end, while they may look quite different, both projects share a similar, horror-filled soul.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
