Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

Roblox has exploded in popularity recently, and its massive user base has recreated games like Among Us, Fortnite, GTA, and others on the platform.

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

Roblox has recently gone through a renaissance, taking it from an awkward, LEGO-like experience into a gaming phenomenon that now rivals viral successes like Fortnite. The platform is built upon the creativity of its millions of users who have the ability to build custom games that they can sell or give away for free on the Roblox games store. Some of the most dedicated creators have even remade versions of other popular titles.

Roblox's popularity has ballooned over the past few years, taking its user base to more than 160 million monthly users. That has led to an expansive library of unique games that can't be played anywhere else and fresh takes on existing franchises. It has become an online Pandora's box.

The platform has been around since 2006, but some of the most stunning recreations of classic video games were created in recent years. Roblox has allowed its users to create such a wide array of content that they've made everything from a 3D version of Among Us to a rendition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Here are five mind-blowing Roblox renditions of existing games.

Roblox Game Recreations: Among Us

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

The rise of the indie game Among Us proved that a simple, well-executed concept could become just as popular as any AAA launch. The original's charming 2D art style has fueled a slew of Among Us fan art, but Roblox developers Wizard Studios decided to go the extra mile and remake The Skeld map in 3D.

Amongst Us lets up to ten users play a replica of Among Us on Roblox. Impostors can vent, Crewmates can call emergency meetings, and players need to use the in-game chat room to determine who's the murderer in the group. It has done away with the game's signature armless astronauts for more lifelike space explorers, but its popularity is still booming. Amongst Us has been played more than 183 million times since its release in September and is consistently being updated. Maybe once Among Us's Airship update arrives, Roblox players will get a rendition of it as well.

Roblox Game Recreations: Half-Life 2

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

Valve's Half-Life 2 changed the way developers weave narratives into first-person shooters forever. The 2004 release is considered one of the most influential achievements in gaming history. Roblox developers' team by the name Primitive Polygon has paid homage to the science fiction title by recreating snippets of it.

Half-Blox 2 features two locations from the original's campaign, including a shot-for-shot reconstruction of its iconic opening sequence. It even comes with three multiplayer maps that Half-Life 2: Deathmatch fans will remember fondly. The only thing missing is a rendition of protagonist Gordon Freeman's Gravity Gun, which let him fling objects at enemies.

The remake was released in February 2020 and has been played more than 3.5 million times since. Primitive Polygon announced that it would no longer be expanding the Half-Blox 2 and has shifted its focus to new projects.

Roblox Game Recreations - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

While most Roblox experiences are somewhat limited in their scope, user WestCoastOshawott has single-handedly crafted a vast reimagination of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It includes three cities modeled after Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas (including GTA's Grove Street), making it one of the largest Roblox projects.

The game allows up to 33 players to explore and wreak havoc across the virtual West Coast. Players can roam from city to city in the original vehicles and loot the same guns from the 2004 GTA launch. There aren't any NPCs in this custom Roblox game, but gamers have total freedom to do anything from role-playing to large-scale shootouts. San Andreas has been visited more than 63,000 times and is an ongoing project that still receives updates today.

Roblox Game Recreations: Portal

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

Valve's 2007 release of Portal is among one of the most beloved puzzle adventures of all-time. The original's creative use of physics and environmental storytelling made it a must-play solo experience, and now it is one that's available on Roblox. There's even a version of the game that lets friends play together, just like in Valve's sequel Portal 2.

Portal and Portal Together were created by user Homemade_Meal in 2020, and they've both been play millions of times since. The environments for both titles are simplistic, but the portal gun and portal animations are some of the most stunning Roblox assets in recent memory. Portal Together even allows for lobbies of up to six players, which is three times the number of users that can play Portal 2 simultaneously. This remake provides features that aren't possible on the original release, which shows the level of attention that can go into custom Roblox games.

Roblox Game Recreations: Fortnite Galactus Event

Roblox Among Us GTA and Other MindBlowing Game Remakes

While there might not be a comprehensive recreation of Fortnite in Roblox, the ItsODRJR Fan Group reenacted the entirety of the Marvel Galactus Event that took place in December 2020. Fortnite - Marvel Galactus Event [1/2] is the first half of the world event that transported the massive world-eating villain Galactus to the battle royal.

Players had a limited time window to log onto Fortnite and experience the comic-book mayhem, which means many people might have missed it. The Roblox recreation allows anyone who didn't have time to see how Epic Games altered Fortnite for a day. Its Roblox counterpart has been played more than 2.3 million times since its release, and its creators are currently working on part two. The current version only lets up to five users view the Galactus event at once, so it won't be the same as experiencing it with 99 other players in Fortnite.

These games prove that Roblox players can use the platform's tools to make premium gaming experiences more accessible and even improve them in some cases. Their graphics and world design won't surpass that of hundreds of developers at AAA studios. Still, these remakes are a promising sign of the type of jaw-dropping custom games Roblox's budding fanbase will create in the future.

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence Among Us is pretty brutal for such a simple-looking game with cute, rounded characters. Here's each kill animation ranked from least to most violent. Despite the rather cute and simple look of Among Us, the online science fiction game has some pretty horrific kill animations that are often shown when an Impostor is left alone with an unsuspecting Crewmate. This list will go over each one, ranking them from least to most violent. Killing is a natural part of Among Us as the premise states a parasitic shapeshifter Impostor has taken the place of one of the Crewmates in an otherwise productive crew of MIRA scientists, explorers, and researchers. Crewmates try figure out who the Impostor is while trying to stay alive, but fans know that death is an inevitable part of the game. In fact, the absence of one makes it near impossible to find out who the real Impostors are. Currently, there are only four different kill animations, but...

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started One interesting Among Us fan theory offers an explanation on the origins of the Impostors and provides a timeline for when and where they appear. The online social deduction multiplayer title Among Us is a relatively simple game, but it's recent success has already brought about some interesting and complex fan theories to give more backstory to the space-themed setting. One theory gives a plausible explanation for how the Impostors came to be, incorporating each of the maps for more evidence. There are currently three maps in Among Us: The Skeld, MIRA HQ, and the latest addition, Polus. The developers are in the process of adding a new map, so this theory will only pertain to the ones already available. The Skeld is the primary map that takes place on a cargo spaceship which travels to the other locations. MIRA HQ is a tall building set high in a planet's atmosphere and is the location the Crewmates travel back to a...
