Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Why Among Us Names Actually Are Important (Not During Gameplay)

Why Among Us Names Actually Are Important (Not During Gameplay)

Some are suspicious, some are descriptive, but all Among Us names have a not-so-hidden secondary function which makes them incredibly important.

Why Among Us Names Actually Are Important (Not During Gameplay)

When picking a name in Among Us, it's important to keep a few different things in mind. Players need to make sure they are picking a name which won't make other players immediately antagonistic towards them - nothing is worse than being kicked out an airlock in Among Us just because other players are irritated at someone's name. They also need to make sure they aren't picking a name which makes them immediately sound suspicious or untrustworthy. Players who walk around with the Among Us name Red and the Among Us color blue, for instance, aren't really giving other players a chance to wonder whether or not they'll be lied to.

However, names in Among Us don't really matter - at least, during gameplay. This is because Crewmates often just call each other out by their color in Among Us' Emergency Meetings instead, saying things like "Red is sus" and "No I was doing a task black is sus they were following me." This kind of quick communication is the most common way Among Us players refer to each other, especially since many players choose unpronounceable or slightly offensive names.

Even so, names in Among Us are important for one very specific reason - the name of the host of any given Among Us session is what that game's lobby is described as in the public lobby search bar. This means that if a player's name is "Mitchell," for instance, the name of the lobby other players can see and join is also "Mitchell." While lobby names may not seem inherently important, they actually matter quite a bit.

Why Among Us Lobby Names Matter

Why Among Us Names Actually Are Important (Not During Gameplay)

The name of the Among Us lobby sets the tone for every interaction players have upon joining. For those people who want to use Among Us as a dating service, this could mean players name themselves something along the lines of "imsingle" or "look4love" in order to properly convey that to other players before they join. Users who like to participate in the fan-made Among Us game modes, such as the popular Hide-And-Seek variation, will likewise name themselves something along those lines so other players know what they are getting into.

With so many new Among Us players thanks to the game's recent release on Nintendo Switch, it's important to know which lobbies in Among Us are for which kind of players. People who don't want to play Hide-And-Seek, or players who aren't playing Among Us in order to meet the love of their life, should pay attention to the names and lobbies present in the game - and if they have something specific about their own lobby they want to convey, making an appropriate name in Among Us is the best way to do so.

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence Among Us is pretty brutal for such a simple-looking game with cute, rounded characters. Here's each kill animation ranked from least to most violent. Despite the rather cute and simple look of Among Us, the online science fiction game has some pretty horrific kill animations that are often shown when an Impostor is left alone with an unsuspecting Crewmate. This list will go over each one, ranking them from least to most violent. Killing is a natural part of Among Us as the premise states a parasitic shapeshifter Impostor has taken the place of one of the Crewmates in an otherwise productive crew of MIRA scientists, explorers, and researchers. Crewmates try figure out who the Impostor is while trying to stay alive, but fans know that death is an inevitable part of the game. In fact, the absence of one makes it near impossible to find out who the real Impostors are. Currently, there are only four different kill animations, but...

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started One interesting Among Us fan theory offers an explanation on the origins of the Impostors and provides a timeline for when and where they appear. The online social deduction multiplayer title Among Us is a relatively simple game, but it's recent success has already brought about some interesting and complex fan theories to give more backstory to the space-themed setting. One theory gives a plausible explanation for how the Impostors came to be, incorporating each of the maps for more evidence. There are currently three maps in Among Us: The Skeld, MIRA HQ, and the latest addition, Polus. The developers are in the process of adding a new map, so this theory will only pertain to the ones already available. The Skeld is the primary map that takes place on a cargo spaceship which travels to the other locations. MIRA HQ is a tall building set high in a planet's atmosphere and is the location the Crewmates travel back to a...
