Among Us Account System Errors & More Fixed In New Patch
InnerSloth releases a new patch for its hit indie game Among Us, introducing a handful of hotfixes that improve several aspects of the title.

Following the addition of an account system to the hit indie game, Among Us has fixed some bothersome account system errors and made a few other meaningful changes (and bugfixes) in a new patch. The newest version comes hot in the heels after the latest big content update, which introduced the game's long-anticipated new map, The Airship.
Among Us' Airship finally released at the end of March to players' delight, bringing a handful of major changes along with it. It's now the fourth playable area available in the game, and currently the largest one by far. The Airship introduces a variety of new gameplay mechanics and Crewmate tasks to give it a distinctive new feel relative to existing maps. The update also added new skins and cosmetics, including several free hats for everyone to customize their spacemen with.
On Twitter, InnerSloth announced that Among Us has been updated to version 2021.4.12, introducing a handful of hotfixes. The most crucial change is a enhanced account login flow, which previously resulted in receiving a “Failed!” in-game prompt when trying to sign in. An annoying bug that prevented multiple users from logging on to a single device was also fixed in the update. Additionally, the patch includes some text graphic updates and improved translations, although the developer did not specify which ones exactly were tweaked. Various other undefined bug fixes have also made it to the 2021.4.12 version. Since some of the introduced changes make the game more stable and responsive, it is highly recommended that players update as soon as possible to ensure the best experience.
📢 hot fixes for version 2021.4.12 📢 - account login flow reworked - multiple users can now log in to the same device (no more "MismatchedProductUserIDs") - text graphic update - hi i appreciate u - updated translations - various bug fixes make sure you update!!
The latest Airship update was the first major sign of Among Us switching to a new style and pace of delivering content. The team has been expanded with additional talent, which hopefully means that the flow of updates is about to become noticeably denser. Players can likely expect new gameplay features sooner rather than later, and InnerSloth teased that an art style overhaul and bigger lobbies supporting up to 15 players are coming even sooner. Interestingly, the studio also promises greater transparency on Among Us' development, which is definitely something hardcore fans are looking forward to.
It’s always nice when developers communicate with audiences and share details on their continuous work, which Among Us has had to a degree on its itch.io and Steam pages (and now growing Twitter presence). However, some online have suggested that the studio invest in a dedicated website where all information about the game and its plans can be shared, which doesn't sound like a half-bad idea for the small studio to pick up on when it finds the time.
