Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us How to Play Without a Name

Among Us How to Play Without a Name

Among Us players on mobile can get a "blank" name to confuse other players. It's not really a blank, however; it's a unicode symbol that looks blank.

While it doesn't have much of a practical effect on gameplay, fans of Among Us often find ways to customize their character and differentiate themselves from the group. They can purchase and equip skins, hats, and pets to change the look of their bean-like character. They can also change their name between games. Sometimes, everyone in the group will choose a theme for their customizations, such as making their nicknames colors that do not match the color of the character, or all wearing party hats.

Other players, however, may want to blend in, or at the very least contribute to the chaos and confusion inherent in the game. Players don't actually need to use a name and can remain anonymous to blend in and confuse their friends during discussions. While not a glitch, it will only work on mobile; a patch earlier this year eliminated PC players' ability to take advantage of this workaround. The trick is to use a blank unicode character so the name field registers as filled, but there is no visible text displayed. Having a blank name can allow players to hide in tight spaces and will make it harder for others to address them in the chat, which are both significant benefits, particularly if a player is an Impostor. Here's how to get a blank name in Among Us.

Unfortunately, if players try to simply delete the display name in the box at the top of the screen, it won't work. Placing a series of spaces won't work either. To keep a blank name in Among Us, players will need to copy in the unicode character Hangul Filler U+3164, which appears as a blank space.

The easiest way to do this is to copy it from elsewhere. Players can copy the blank symbol in between the following quotation marks: "ㅤ". If this one does not work, players can also copy it from compart, which lists dozens of codes and characters for computing.

Then, when they launch Among Us, they will need to click on the box at the top of the screen and Paste the symbol to change their name to a blank. Players can only change their name prior to starting a new game, so they should make sure to do this before joining a new lobby. Players should be cautious, however, as this sometimes gets players booted from certain public lobbies. Fans of the game do take having a visible name seriously to avoid unfair advantages.

This trick works well on mobile, but it will not work for PC players. InnerSloth patched the game earlier this year, eliminating access to the clipboard on the PC version and rendering this workaround impossible. It is possible it will also be patched out of mobile versions of the game in future updates.

With millions of players worldwide, Among Us became something of an overnight success. Despite being released two years ago, it has exploded in popularity as a way for friends to get together and have fun while socially distanced. The game became so popular that InnerSloth has canceled the sequel to focus on adding new features to the original game. An update is expected to drop sometime in the next few weeks, and players can look forward to finding new ways to confuse and deceive their friends or raise their suspicions and get ejected from the airlock.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
