Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us New Update How Vents Are Changing

Among Us New Update How Vents Are Changing

Among Us has an exciting new update, which adds another layer of strategy to the game’s venting system. How does it change the game?

Among Us New Update How Vents Are Changing

Despite its incredible popularity, Among Us is a very simple game at its core. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it may cause some to believe that there’s really no room for improvement in its gameplay. After all, the game is just so streamlined that it might not seem to really need any more mechanics. Many players may be content if updates to Among Us solely consisted of new maps and cosmetics. In spite of this, developer Innersloth is continuing to find ways to innovate its gameplay.

The recent 2021.3.30 update of Among Us adds a new mechanic that gives crewmates another line of defense against Venting, a feature that Imposters can use to traverse throughout the duct system in a game’s map. It’s a handy tool for Imposters that usually plays a vital part of their strategy, as it allows them to enter rooms undetected or or make hasty getaways after scoring a kill. Originally, Among Us players assuming the role of Imposter would suffer no immediate consequences while they were inside the vent system, and there was no way to stop them from reaching any other vent in the map.

Now, they will have to take a few more precautions, as crewmates can complete tasks that will clean out vents. Once a vent is clean, Imposters cannot use it, blocking off instant access to a room. Furthermore, Imposters will immediately get booted out of a vent if it gets cleaned with them in it. Prior to the update, there were already some balances in place to counter Venting. Because Imposters are the only ones who can enter or leave a vent, being caught doing either of those things results in immediate exposure. And while Imposters could previously stay in vents for as long as they liked, they were still discouraged from doing so, since a match of Among Us ends when crewmates finish all tasks or whenever Impostors manage to kill everyone else.

What Among Us' Vent Task & Update Adds To The Game

However, a vent-cleaning mechanic still makes plenty of sense. It allows for another dimension of strategy without really changing the fundamental way the game is played. Now, Imposters have another reason to stay on their toes while crewmates are given the option of temporary security when they have to stay in a room long enough to complete a task.

Adding the ability to clean vents in Among Us doesn’t change the existing gameplay of Among Us as much as a new map might. However, it’s a simple mechanic that makes sense and improves the overall game, like a small house rule for a board game that makes it all the more enjoyable. In any case, it’s good to see that Innersloth is still showing such commitment to Among Us and its fanbase, even if they probably could have gotten away with doing less.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...
