Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Theory There Is No Impostor

Among Us Theory There Is No Impostor

A fun Among Us fan theory suggests there aren't actually any Impostors - just a Crewmate who's gone mad and believes his murderous actions are heroic.

Among Us Theory There Is No Impostor

Another interesting Among Us fan theory to get player minds spinning has been presented, and this one's a bit controversial: it proposes there isn't actually an Impostor in the popular science fiction online multiplayer game at all.

This may seem a little preposterous, as the premise of the game involves players being randomly assigned as either a Crewmate or an Impostor. Crewmates work together and complete tasks within the map while Impostors go around trying to stealthily take out any unsuspecting Crewmate. Once a murder or any suspicious activity is discovered, players can call an Emergency Meeting to try and sleuth out the Impostor(s), who in turn try to deflect blame allowing for more opportunities to kill.

There's actually some evidence in support of this theory that there aren't really any Impostors. It was presented by Reddit user I_exist_YAYY and has sparked some fun discussion that gives both more evidence and also reasons why it should be debunked. Here is what the theory suggests so other Among Us fans can contribute to the conversation.

How There Can Be No Impostors In Among Us

Among Us Theory There Is No Impostor

The theory states that there aren't actually any Impostors, but just a horror story about an Impostor going around terrorizing Crewmates. One becomes so paranoid that he starts randomly killing everyone else in hopes of snuffing out the - unbeknownst to him - fictitious Impostor. This paranoid Crewmate believes he's actually saving everyone when, in fact, he is doing the opposite. The actions he believes to be heroic actually end up making him the villainous Impostor in the end.

Of course, there is a lot that can be picked apart from this, but it isn't too farfetched of an idea for someone to go mad in the void of space. Because the Among Us website does state the Impostor is a parasitic shapeshifter, many have used this to debunk the theory outright. Yet the fun part of theories is the clever discussion and ideas that follow, so arguably InnerSloth's introduction of a parasitic shapeshifter could be the exact horror story haunting this paranoid Crewmate.

Additionally, the kill timer - which in all fairness is purely implemented to make the game more fair for the Crewmates - could help support this claim, as an entity who means to harm the crew would likely do so during meetings and more frequently than the kill timer allows. In the same thread, more evidence is presented due to the Impostor not being able to preform tasks: he could just be too paranoid to actually complete them, as the only thing on his mind is trying to find (and kill) who he believes is the actual Impostor. A counter argument to I_exist_YAYY's theory involves the Sabotage feature. It wouldn't make sense for the Crewmate in question to impair the entire ship, as this would affect his own safety... or would it? By the time this paranoid insanity has taken over, one can't really explain the actions of a madman.

A fun and slightly more logical twist to this theory would be if the parasitic shapeshifters actually use a Crewmate as a host, bringing about the slow overtaking and eventual demise of said Crewmate - meaning that for a time that Crewmate is still partially himself but is descending into madness as his body and soul are being taken over. This would explain how he could vent, see in the dark, and do things the other Crewmates cannot do, as well as justifying the notion that he believes his murderous actions are heroic while staying true to the lore presented by InnerSloth. With all the hype Among Us is getting lately, who knows what kind of neat content - either fan-made or canon - could arise to add more depth to a game that seems so simple on the surface.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
