Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Update Why Some Crewmates Are Appearing As Pink Blobs

Among Us Update Why Some Crewmates Are Appearing As Pink Blobs

For about a month, some Among Us players have been seeing only pink polygons where their crewmates should be, prompting complaints to InnerSloth.

Among Us Update Why Some Crewmates Are Appearing As Pink Blobs

Game updates can be a fickle thing, especially for multi-platform games like InnerSloth's social sleuthing giant Among Us. There's always a wide range of different configurations to account for, and well-meaning changes can introduce new bugs for no obvious reason. One such glitch has been impacting Among Us' Crewmates, turning some players into pink blobs - but an explanation may be drawing closer.

The pink blob bug has been impacting players for about a month, coinciding with Among Us' Airship update. Affected people are seeing character sprites as pink polygons, which can make it difficult not just to identify crewmates at a glance but to judge what they're doing, although accessories like hats can be visible. The bug even corrupts Among Us' main menu, showing pink objects floating around in space like Asteroids. There have been other issues, but Among Us' pink Crewmate bug has been persistent.

On investigation, the bug appears to revolve around certain Android devices and Chromebooks, InnerSloth explains in an April 27 blog post. The developer claims in fact that it has "identified most of the issue," but that troubleshooting Android can be hard for Among Us since each device is unique. The Android operating system is open-source, which means that companies like OnePlus and Samsung can create their own forks with different features and hardware support. Samsung's Note phones, for example, have a native stylus with custom functions, whereas most Android devices don't.

Is An End To Among Us' Pink Crewmate Glitch In Sight?

InnerSloth isn't offering a firm timeline for the problem's end, and says just that "hopefully the cruel pink overlords will not continue their reign of terror for long." The topic does have a dedicated paragraph in the blog, which suggests it's a priority for QA testing alongside Among Us' new features. It creates a fundamental obstacle to play, and the Android demographic is not insignificant, even though the game is on several other platforms including iOS, PC, and Switch.

The next major Among Us update should include refined art, support for up to 15 players, and a redesigned menu screen to accommodate a larger scale. Accordingly InnerSloth is also adding a new intro before meetings for clarity's sake, and six new distinct colors. Long-term, the company is moving away from colors as the primary means of identification - which is a good thing, as some gamers are partly or fully colorblind and can't tell crewmates apart if they don't have accessories. There's no set date for when these upgrades will hit.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...
