Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

How to Customize Your Character in Among Us

How to Customize Your Character in Among Us

In Among Us, players can customize their character using skins, hats, and pets, either for free. Here's how to equip customizations before the game.

How to Customize Your Character in Among Us

InnerSloth’s group party deduction game Among Us has exploded in popularity in the last few weeks despite being a few years old now. In the game, friends assume the role of a shapeless bean akin to the characters in Fall Guys and work together to complete tasks on a spaceship or headquarters building. Each time a new game begins, several players will be assigned the role of impostor. Like Mafia or Town of Salem, these impostors must lie to their friends and pretend to complete tasks while managing to sabotage and murder the rest of the crew. Each time a dead body is found and reported, the group must convene to figure out who did it and boot them out of the operation.

As every character is a little bean in a different color, players may want to do some customization, either to make it easier or more difficult for the group to identify them. Players just starting may not know they have access to skins, hats, and pets that allow them to customize their bean. On PC, these customizations come with the game, while on mobile, players will have to pay extra for skins but will have free access to hats. Here’s how to customize a character in Among Us.

Prior to starting a game, all players will convene in a small airlock area with laptops and crates. To customize characters, the player will need to interact with one of the laptops. They can navigate to the Customize tab from the menu on the laptop. In that tab, they will have smaller tabs to see skins, hats, and pets. Skins change the overall costume of the player character, while hats change the headwear.

Here, players can customize their character’s skin, hat, and pet. Players can use their purchased items or the free options, or they can purchase any of the add-on accessories. PC players will have access to most of the skins because they will have paid for the game. On mobile, the app is free to download and play, but skins cost extra. These items usually cost between $0.99 and $2.99. There are also bundles so players can get more options for their money. Both PC users and mobile users will need to pay for pets, which will follow the player character around the spaceship while the player completes tasks.

Once players find the item they want to use, they can equip it by clicking on its icon in the customization menu. When finished, they can close out of the laptop menu and prepare to join the game. To further stand out, or confuse their friends, they can change their name.

There are advantages to standing out in the game; communication becomes easier between crewmates if players can quickly tell who's who and keep track of where their friends are going, making it more difficult for impostors to get away with their nefarious plans. However, this can also be a detriment, as once the player looks memorable, if they are assigned to be the impostor in the crew, they will be somewhat easier to identify. Ultimately, character customization does not affect gameplay but can affect strategy and make it more difficult to be an impostor.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...
