Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

How to Find (& Make) Custom Skins in Among Us

Among Us does not have a Steam workshop page, but players can still add mods to their game that create new outfits. Here's a guide on how to do so.

How to Find (& Make) Custom Skins in Among Us

The recent surge in popularity Among Us has experienced led to a large influx of new players and an incredibly active player base. All of these new crewmates, or impostors, can take on a variety of appearances thanks to the numerous hats, masks, and color options available in customization; not to mention, the various pets they can bring with. It’s not often that a cosmetic combination is seen twice, giving each astronaut a distinctive feel along with their name. However, for those looking for a little extra diversity to spice up their game, there’s a way to add more outfits to the game.

Custom skins allow players to masquerade as anything they can design, but there’s a catch: only the player can see their modifications. This is because the outfits are altered using the player’s own assets, which differ from person to person. Here’s a guide on how to make unique gear in Among Us by modding the game’s files. As a prerequisite, messing with the game files in any game is not recommended but if a player just has to change their look, here's how.

Making New Skins in Among Us

How to Find (& Make) Custom Skins in Among Us

The first thing players will need to do is find and download the Unity Assets Bundle Extractor online. Among Us itself is made in the Unity engine, so this specific program will allow anyone to take files out of games made with Unity. To do so, open the extractor and click on file, then open and select “Assets 7” in the Among Us asset folder. Players can get this game's files by right-clicking the game in their Steam library and selecting 'Browse Local files'. From there, select all of the 2D texture files, because that’s where the outfit data is stored, and click the plugin option on the right to export them as PNGs.

Now that the files have been taken out, they can be modified to make the custom outfits. Open up the file titled ‘Hats’ in a preferred painting program and edit them. Once complete, place the new one back in the same folder to replace the unmodified data. Be sure to save a copy of the unaltered hat files in case the default ones are ever wanted again. To finish the process and put the customized content into the game, repeat the same steps with the Unity Extractor, but this time choose to edit the preexisting data by importing the new file. Then click the folder containing the edited assets and choose to upload them. Upon doing so, the new outfits will be able to equip in the game! Because they replace content already in the game, other players will be wearing anything that’s been changed as well.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...
