Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

How to Play the Five Nights at Freddys Mod in Among Us

How to Play the Five Nights at Freddys Mod in Among Us

Among Us' concept would fit well in the horror genre, and a new mod combines the beloved party game with horror staple Five Nights at Freddy's.

The most popular Among Us mods introduce new roles and abilities, not only for crewmates, but also for the already powerful Impostors. Many content creators have added mods that turn the Impostors into powerful creatures and famous monsters, from King Kong to a T-Rex to the legendary Among Us creepypasta character No Visor. Given the core concept of Among Us would fit right in with other horror games, it makes sense that modders are making changes that shift the game into the realm of survival horror. The new Five Nights at Freddy's mod brings beloved horror game icon Freddy Fazbear into Among Us as the Impostor, ready to terrorize and devour unsuspecting crewmates in the dark.

When a player becomes the Impostor with the Five Nights at Freddy's mod installed, they will have the ability to enter any of the multiple Freddy Fazbear animatronic suits found around the map. They will have access to four new abilities that make them nearly unstoppable, and, when they use one of these abilities to kill, it will eliminate the possibility that crewmates can report the body, giving crewmates an even greater challenge to overcome. The goal for crewmates when using Impostor mods in Among Us becomes less about completing tasks and voting out suspected Impostors and more about surviving as long as possible. Here's how to play the Five Nights at Freddy's Impostor Role Mod in Among Us.

The Five Nights at Freddy's Role Mod for Among Us was programmed by @LooKuM / MRE for streamer and YouTuber SSundee and his friends. There is not currently a public download link available. Players may have luck getting into a game that uses this mod by joining a server that has it installed, or program their own version. It is also possible that, given the mod's popularity, other programmers will eventually create a version of this mod and make it available for wider use.

When a player becomes the Impostor with the Five Nights at Freddy's Mod installed, they will receive six new buttons on the left side of their screen:

  • Impostor: The Impostor leaves the Freddy Fazbear animatronic and resume their crewmate appearance.

  • Transform: When the Impostor is near a Freddy Fazbear animatronic, they can inhabit one of the animatronic suits found in nearly every room on the map.

  • Teleport: The Impostor as Freddy Fazbear can select a map location or a crewmate on the map and immediately appear there.

  • Devour: The Impostor as Freddy can launch themselves at a crewmate, eat them, and turn them into a little pile of mechanical poop, preventing crewmates from reporting a body and stopping the hunt.

  • Freddy Army: The Impostor as Freddy can command various Freddy animatronics to chase certain crewmates, based on color. These are harmless, but impossible to tell apart from the real thing

  • Jumpscare: The Impostor can launch the classic Five Nights at Freddy's jumpscare, which stuns all crewmates in place for several seconds.

Each ability, apart from Impostor and Transform, has a brief cooldown period once it has been used. Like many other Impostor role mods, Impostors will only have access to the special abilities Teleport, Devour, and Jumpscare while transformed into Freddy. They will always have access to the typical Kill and Sabotage buttons.

A prominent feature of this mod is the darkness across the entire map. Each Impostor receives a flashlight that casts a narrow beam around them in any chosen direction, making it even more difficult for them to see Freddy Fazbear coming. Flashlights can be cut if the Impostor sabotages the lights, drowning the entire map in darkness. The Impostor will see the map with full lights.

Crewmates can try to complete tasks, but it is nearly impossible to win with tasks. Instead, to defeat Freddy, they should try to stay in a group with other crewmates and figure out who is missing, then get to the Emergency Button without being devoured and vote them out. This is easier said than done, however, especially if the Impostor as Freddy continues to cut lights, Jumpscare and stun, and use the close door sabotage to cut crewmates off from one another.

To win, Freddy must devour the entire crew and avoid suspicion. To give themselves an alibi, Impostors can use the Freddy Army ability to set the animatronics on their character, making it look like the Impostor is chasing them. They should be sure to pretend to flee the bear near other crewmates for this to work. They can also wait until a crewmate is working on a task, stand completely still nearby while in the Freddy Fazbear costume, and cause the crewmate a bit of paranoia as they try to remember if that specific costume was there when they came in. This can increase the atmosphere of terror and provide a golden opportunity to attack.

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence

Every Among Us Kill Animation Ranked By Level Of Violence Among Us is pretty brutal for such a simple-looking game with cute, rounded characters. Here's each kill animation ranked from least to most violent. Despite the rather cute and simple look of Among Us, the online science fiction game has some pretty horrific kill animations that are often shown when an Impostor is left alone with an unsuspecting Crewmate. This list will go over each one, ranking them from least to most violent. Killing is a natural part of Among Us as the premise states a parasitic shapeshifter Impostor has taken the place of one of the Crewmates in an otherwise productive crew of MIRA scientists, explorers, and researchers. Crewmates try figure out who the Impostor is while trying to stay alive, but fans know that death is an inevitable part of the game. In fact, the absence of one makes it near impossible to find out who the real Impostors are. Currently, there are only four different kill animations, but...

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started

Among Us Map Timeline Theory How The Impostor Attacks Started One interesting Among Us fan theory offers an explanation on the origins of the Impostors and provides a timeline for when and where they appear. The online social deduction multiplayer title Among Us is a relatively simple game, but it's recent success has already brought about some interesting and complex fan theories to give more backstory to the space-themed setting. One theory gives a plausible explanation for how the Impostors came to be, incorporating each of the maps for more evidence. There are currently three maps in Among Us: The Skeld, MIRA HQ, and the latest addition, Polus. The developers are in the process of adding a new map, so this theory will only pertain to the ones already available. The Skeld is the primary map that takes place on a cargo spaceship which travels to the other locations. MIRA HQ is a tall building set high in a planet's atmosphere and is the location the Crewmates travel back to a...
