Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

How to Play the Lover Role Mod in Among Us

How to Play the Lover Role Mod in Among Us

The Lover Role mod in Among Us by Sub & Fletch lets a crewmate or two work with the Impostors and drag charmed fellow crewmates to their deaths.

How to Play the Lover Role Mod in Among Us

Just in time for Valentine's Day, modders Sub & Fletch on YouTube created a mod for Among Us that introduces a Lover role for one of the crewmates. Playing modded versions of Among Us have become an incredibly popular and lucrative option for many popular content creators. Some of the most popular mods introduce new and exciting gameplay mechanics, like Proximity Voice Chat, change the fundamental gameplay and objective of Among Us, like the Zombie Mode mod, or introduce roles for crewmates to fulfill that help them against the Impostor. The Lover Role mod is a little bit of a twist on that idea, as it gives a crewmate a new role, but one that helps the Impostors succeed more easily.

The character assigned the role of Lover has their own objective and abilities beyond what the regular crewmates can do. The Lover can see who the Impostors are, though they will technically be part of the crew. The Lover will need to press a button, aptly labeled, Simp, which will cause the nearest crewmate to fall in love with them. The Lover and that crewmate will then become attached, and the Lover can drag their charmed crewmate to the Impostor to facilitate a kill. The Lover can't technically win, but they win the game alongside the Impostors if they help the Impostors win and are last crewmate standing. Here's how to play the Lover Role mod in Among Us.

At the time of writing, the Lover Role mod is not currently available for public use. Players who want to get involved with the mod will need to message creator Sub on Twitter to participate in their modded lobbies. A version of this mod was briefly available for download, so it is always possible another will become available to the broader community in the future.

When a player is assigned the role of the Lover, they become part of the Impostors' team. They will be able to tell which players are the Impostors based on the color of the nametags above the characters' heads. Their main objective is to be the last crewmate left alive and help facilitate a win for the Impostors by dragging crewmates away from their tasks and to rooms where they can easily be killed. There can be more than one Lover, just like there can be more than one Impostor.

When the Lover wants to use their power, they will need to press the Simp button. This will charm the nearest crewmate and prevent them from moving of their own accord. They will instead follow the Lover around, attached to that sprite for a few seconds. The Simp button, unlike many other crewmate role mod abilities, does not have a cooldown after the effect wears off, so the Lover can do this as often as they want.

The rest of the game proceeds as normal. Crewmates must complete all their tasks and vote out every Impostor, and Impostors must sabotage and kill the crewmates if they want to win.

It is in the best interest of the Impostors to keep the Lover alive. Unfortunately, if a crewmate breaks free of the Lover's alluring spell and flees before they can be killed, the Lover's identity is likely to be quickly compromised. In addition, if other crewmates notice one character closely following after another, they are likely to be able to tell quickly who the Lover is. The other crewmates could theoretically band together to vote out the Lover once they are aware of that player's identity as a means of self-preservation.

Lover and Impostor players will need to be very careful, as there is also a good chance for Impostors to miss when killing a crewmate and accidentally kill the Lover instead. Because they are attached, if it is possible to do so, the Impostor will want to carefully line themselves near the crewmate and not the Lover.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
