Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Why Among Us Skeld Map Is Better Than The Other Levels

Why Among Us Skeld Map Is Better Than The Other Levels

The Skeld ship was the first map in Among Us, and it still stands out as the best level, whether players are the Impostor or a crewmate.

Why Among Us Skeld Map Is Better Than The Other Levels

With millions of views on YouTube and thousands of Impostors being sussed out every minute, Among Us players are starting to approach mastery of the game. Now, the community is beginning to debate what the best Among Us settings are to ensure the most thrilling games every time, including the best of the game's three maps.

Among Us has been the biggest thing in gaming for the past month, topping Twitch rankings and making players accuse one another of murder around the world. In fact, it's gotten so popular that the free Among Us app is almost as popular as Pokémon GO was back in 2016.

One of the biggest choices to make at the start of an Among Us game is deciding which map to play on, but the choice should be obvious. The original map, The Skeld, is the best map for both beginner and master Among Us players, delivering the best games and avoiding cheese in the best ways. Though it's always good to switch things up, The Skeld reigns supreme.

Why The Skeld Is Among Us' Best Map

Why Among Us Skeld Map Is Better Than The Other Levels

The Skeld Is The Best Map For Impostors

The Skeld gives Among Us Impostors the best chance to control the flow of the game to opposite sides of the map. Though MIRA HQ and Polus both have sabotage options for Impostors to take advantage of, they aren't as potent as the Reactor and O2 sabotage on The Skeld, as these let Impostors force players to the left or right-hand side of the map easily.

The Skeld Has The Best Launch Location

Unlike the other maps, The Skeld starts players around the emergency button in a central location. Both Polus and MIRA HQ have starting zones that are rarely used in normal gameplay and are out of the way for the rest of the game. The Skeld's starting location, the Cafeteria, prevents early kills from the Impostor and lowers the punishment for players starting the game momentarily AFK. Additionally, The Skeld's starting location is right in the middle of the map, meaning players get separated, and the true fun of Among Us starts earlier than other maps.

Why Among Us' Other Maps Don't Measure Up

Why Among Us Skeld Map Is Better Than The Other Levels

MIRA HQ Is Too Punishing For New Players

Two key points make the Impostor much harder to discover when on the MIRA HQ map: The first is that the vents on the map are all interconnected, meaning the Impostor can move from any part of the map to another without triggering anything. This vent power is meant to be countered by the doorlogs, MIRA's replacement for security cameras. But the doorlogs are actually the second strike against MIRA HQ, as they are much harder to use than the visual feedback of the security cameras and are often useless to newer players.

Polus Has Almost Useless Decontamination Chambers

The Decontamination chambers on Polus only provide access to a small handful of tasks, which turns them into a frustrating area to deal with, rather than a high-tension space. MIRA HQ solves this issue by having the Decontamination area block off a large part of the map that all players will need to go into, but on Polus, getting a task in the Specimen room is simply annoying instead of tense.

MIRA HQ Has A Cheesy Win For Impostors

Due to the map design, MIRA HQ is the only level in Among Us where crewmates don't always have access to the emergency meeting button. This means the Impostors can block off a third of the map if they have their kills available, and there is no way for the crewmates to call a meeting to break the stalemate, leading to some games being decided long before the victory screen.

All of these factors combined make The Skeld the best map in Among Us for both Impostors and crewmates. Some players prefer one of the other maps, and it's always good to switch occasionally for a change of pace, but The Skeld will provide the best games the most often.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
