Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Why Among Us Vents Dont All Connect To Each Other

Why Among Us Vents Dont All Connect To Each Other

In Among Us, vents are a great way for Imposters to sneak up on people, but all the vents don't connect. Turns out, there's a good reason for that.

Why Among Us Vents Dont All Connect To Each Other

A massive amount of people have started playing Among Us, the social deduction game from indie studio InnerSloth, one where multiple players run for their life from murderers who can hide in vents. Players work together to complete tasks and figure out who the Imposters are among them, while designated Imposters slowly kill any suspecting people they come across. It's a sinister concept made lighter by the game's zany art design and emphasis on fun. One of the ways Imposters move around in the game is by using vents, but they're slightly limited.

In Among Us, Imposters have many abilities, including one called Vent. As the name suggests, it allows these Imposters to sneak inside a vent to hide from other players. Kill cooldowns are paused during this time, but Imposters can move around the map through various connected systems of vents. However, not all of the vents on a map connect. It may seem strange, but there's actually a very good reason for this.

Vents are a way for Imposters to move around more quickly on the map, but there's a catch. Since only Imposters can use the Vent ability, and the animation can be clearly seen by anyone, it's a dead giveaway that someone is an Imposter. This can result in Imposters being caught quickly. Like most of the other psychological manipulation aspects in Among Us, some strategy is required. Still, it's good that all the vents don't connect on a single map.

Why Having All Vents Connect In Among Us Would Be Bad

Why Among Us Vents Dont All Connect To Each Other

When inside a vent, Imposters can view the map as well as seeing which vents connect. Most vents only connect two, possibly three, rooms. It may seem odd that all the vents on a single map don't connect, but there's a good reason for it. Connecting all the vents in Among Us would make the game much too easy for Imposters (and much harder for everyone else). That would upset the balance of the entire game, which could definitely hurt Among Us's booming popularity.

If all the vents connected, Imposters could quickly and easily move between any room on the map. This would make it far too easy for them to sneak up on other players and take them out and then disappear without being seen. It would also mean Imposters could stay inside of vents throughout most of the match, which would make it harder for other players to catch them.

Overall, connecting all the vents in Among Us is just a bad idea. It would negatively affect the balance of the entire game, which is probably why developers InnerSloth didn't connect all the vents in the first place. For anyone who wants to try using the vents for themselves, Among Us is currently available on PC and mobile.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
