Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

Among Us Downloaded on Epic Games Store 15 Million Times During Giveaway

During its free giveaway period on the Epic Games Store, users claimed Among Us more than 15 million times, developer InnerSloth has revealed. The Epic Games Store kicked off its Mega Sale near the end of May by offering a free game a week for four weeks straight. NBA 2K21 served as the first freebie, followed by the Among Us giveaway, the latter of which lasted from May 27 to June 3. Frostpunk and Remedy's Control closed out the Mega Sale free offerings.

In the past, Epic Games Store giveaways have proven a boon to games both big and small, adding significant player numbers to a wide variety of titles. Football Manager 2020, for instance, experienced an increase of one million users after appearing as an Epic Games Store freebie for only three days in 2020. And the trial between Apple and Epic revealed that some developers and publishers receive a pretty penny for hosting their games in such a manner. According to court documents, Epic paid Unknown Worlds $1.4 million for Subnautica's EGS giveaway; meanwhile, Devolver Digital received $300,000 for Stories Untold.

Among Us spent May 27 through June 3 as a free title for the Epic Games Store's Mega Sale. This relatively brief stint as a free-to-own game evidently worked wonders for the social deduction experience, evidenced by news from developer InnerSloth. A recent social media post from the team noted that Among Us secured a staggering 15-plus million downloads from Epic Games Store users during its time in the giveaway. See InnerSloth's celebratory post in the tweet linked below:

Fun fact! During the free week on @EpicGames (May 27 - June 3)... ✨OVER 15 MILLION COPIES✨ of @AmongUsGame were claimed!! Welcome to the crew and thank you for downloading and playing. We're blown away! 🚀🪐 pic.twitter.com/IF5vwMSxro

These numbers clearly increased Among Us' player count drastically, meaning the hit multiplayer experience has garnered an even wider reach on PC. Undoubtedly, Among Us' popularity will continue to spread once it migrates to PlayStation and Xbox consoles sometime in 2021.

The wildly successful title from InnerSloth isn't only making waves this week for its impressive Epic Games Store showing. Mediatonic recently announced a second Among Us crossover for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which goes live on Friday, July 2. When the new Among Us-themed content arrives, Fall Guys players will have a chance to grab a purple impostor skin, complete with a cracked spacesuit visor and gnarly teeth.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
