Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

How Among Us New Art Style Compares To The Original One

The popular social deduction game Among Us got a large new update this week, and with it came a subtle visual overhaul of the game's characters.

To celebrate the game's third birthday, Among Us has released its most recent update containing many large alterations to the game. On top of gameplay changes, it also adds quite a few visual adjustments - more colors, a new kill screen meeting menu, and an improved art style. How does Among Us' new look compare to the game's previous appearance?

The latest update has been teased by Innersloth for some time now, and development progress has gradually been revealed through the announcement of new colors and other upcoming features like the ability to honk the Airship's horn. The most anticipated of these changes, though, was the increase of Among Us' maximum player capacity from 10 to 15 people. The release of the update also came with several bug fixes and mobile controller support.

The Among Us roadmap, which was revealed about a week ago during 2021's Summer Game Fest, outlines what fans should expect next from Innersloth. A new map, the Hide-&-Seek game mode, and further cosmetic changes are all in the works currently. The recently-introduced artistic overhauls, though, have already generated a lot of discussion among players. While some feel that Among Us has lost some of its unique visual identity by switching to a more uniform style of outline, it may make future updates to the game easier.

What's Different About Among Us' New Art Style?

According to the announcement from Innersloth, the game's new art style is cleaner and easier to animate. Whereas before characters in Among Us featured somewhat rough black outlines, now they appear more smooth and uniform in appearance, with rounder shapes and more circular visors. Although the change is subtle, the simplified character models will likely make it easier to implement entirely new character animations, cosmetics, and even colors in later updates. As even more roles and game modes get introduced to Among Us, the focus of the game seems to shift more toward player freedom and game customization, and it's likely that the art style change will help make bringing in future additions much more simple.

In the update announcement, developers also addressed the fact that the game's newest colors - particularly pastel, low-contrast tones like Rose and Banana - aren't particularly colorblind-friendly. Innersloth is aiming to move away from colors being the primary form of player identification within the game, though as of right now there hasn't been a concrete statement on how this will be implemented. Likely, additional Among Us cosmetic options will be provided. On top of visors, crewmates could have capes, necklaces, or other accessories to help set them apart even more drastically than before without relying on color. Among Us fans can more than likely expect a number of other visual updates coming to the game in the near future.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
