Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once

Weird Among Us Cosplay Lets You Be All 10 Players At Once An Instagram user is making "low-cost" Among Us cosplays using his own body parts to represent the crew members of the beloved multiplayer game. An Instagram user has found a bizarre way to cosplay multiple Among Us characters at the same time. The social deduction game has taken the internet by storm despite being largely ignored when it released in 2018. The game has reached such incredible amounts of popularity that the developer cancelled a sequel to focus up on developing the current game. Among Us, like the similarly explosive Fall Guys before it, owes much of its success to its adorable, minimally designed characters. The astronauts in Among Us are small, beanlike creatures, decked out like Skittles in bright primary colors. Like in Fall Guys, players can purchase cosmetic accessories for their astronaut, including hats, and even little pets that can follow them around. While players are mostly interested in Amo...

During a recent four-day Roblox server outage, player usage numbers dramatically rose in rival mobile games such as Minecraft and Among Us.

Roblox Going Down Boosted Minecraft & Among Us Popularity

The game creation platform Roblox recently experienced a server outage, and the downtime led to a rise in gamers logging onto rival mobile titles Minecraft and Among Us. Developed by Roblox Corporation, the online gaming platform allows users to design their own video games and play the various games designed by other players. Roblox has dominated mobile gaming revenue since its launch on iOS back in 2012, and its wild popularity has allowed it to stay ahead of the competition.

Roblox is an entirely free-to-play title, with gamers able to craft their own gaming experiences and play other users' games at no cost. However, the game does feature multiple microtransaction systems which allow Roblox Corporation, and developers to use the platform, to earn money. Users can create purchasable content in the form of either one-use game passes or ongoing developer products which can be purchased repeatedly. Players can also create and sell virtual cosmetic items, which other users can buy to customize their in-game avatar. Despite being a free-to-play title, Roblox stock rose 54% on its first day of entering the stock market back in March 2021, ironically giving the free game a massive worth of around $45 billion.

Roblox servers went down between October 28 and October 31, and a report by Sensor Tower reveals that this was very beneficial to rival games Minecraft and Among Us. Both titles are among the most popular mobile games on the market, with Roblox acting as a fierce rival. During the roughly four-day Roblox outage, usage of Among Us rose by around 12 percent while Minecraft usage increased by 13 percent. Downloads of both titles also saw a dramatic spike over the course of the Roblox outage. Time spent within the Twitch streaming app also increased by 8 percent during that same period, though this could be attributed to other factors such as the League of Legends World Championship and Halloween-related streams.

While Roblox is among the most popular mobile games on the market, the game creation platform and its microtransactions have also received their fair share of criticism. Roblox was recently accused of exploiting young game developers by creating unrealistic expectations regarding the money they can earn through game development and in-game transactions. Roblox users are able to make money off of their in-game creations through the use of microtransactions, but Roblox Corporation reportedly takes 75.5% of revenue from every in-game sale. Developers can apparently make even less actual money off their work, due to the fact that they are paid in Robux currency rather than real-world money.

The surge of players rushing to Minecraft and Among Us during the Roblox outage is a testament to the creation game's popularity and dominance in the mobile gaming sector. Minecraft is an incredibly beloved and long-running title, while Among Us recently took the gaming community by storm with its addicting social simulation gameplay. Despite the success of both Minecraft and Among Us, it is clear that Roblox draws a huge percentage of players away from those rival titles when its servers are operational.

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus

Among Us Hat Graph All 94 Hats Ranked From Cute To Sus Among Us' hats can say a lot about the player that wears them and may influence who dies first. Here's every hat in the game ranked from cute to sus. One of the best ways to appear innocent in Among Us is by dressing for the occasion. While judging someone by their appearance is superficial, it could also be a player's saving grace. This graph will examine every hat in Among Us and rank them according to how cute, boring, silly, and sus they are. In a social deduction game like Among Us, players usually don't have a lot to go off outside of appearances. This becomes even more true for players who primarily play in public lobbies where voice chat isn't an option. A player could be given the benefit of the doubt immediately depending on how they choose to dress. While dressing cute could help an innocent crewmate stay out of the spotlight, it can also allow the Impostor to prey on the unassuming minds of their vic...

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are

Among Us Theory What Impostors Really Are Among Us' dastardly Impostors terrorize crewmates with various forms of killing and sabotage, and fans have theories about their origins and motives. The Impostors that give Among Us its name and central gameplay hook are, by design, a mysterious bunch. On the surface, they're nearly identical to Among Us' colorful crewmates, but Impostors exhibit certain strange and terrifying properties. Due to the game's lack of overt story, it's unclear what exactly Among Us' Impostors are, but fans have a few compelling theories. Unlike normal crewmates, Impostors have the ability to slink through vents, which - unless crewmates are small enough to do this, too, but simply have no need to - suggests they have some kind of shapeshifting ability. This would also explain Impostors' ability to open up a large mouth at the waist of their spacesuits and stab victims with sharp tongues. It's possible Among Us' crewmates also ha...

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet

Why Among Us 2021 Roadmap Hasnt Released Yet A 2021 map for Among Us updates is still missing in action, despite a promise early this year - which may be because predictions are impossible. In a January blog post, Among Us creators InnerSloth promised a content roadmap for 2021. The idea was to "be more transparent" about what features were launching for the social deduction game, and in which order. As of mid-May, however, that roadmap for Among Us still doesn't exist, and given both the time of year and the likely explanation, it may not arrive at all. Among Us first launched in June 2018 as a mobile-only title for iOS and Android, only reaching PCs in November that year. It was largely sidelined until early 2020, when Twitch and YouTube streamers helped shoot it to massive popularity. This resulted in a Nintendo Switch port in December, and plans for both Xbox and PlayStation versions by the end of 2021. In terms of original content, the biggest release so far has been...
